BARDIMM PRO INTELLIGENCE FOR YOUR PRINTERS
BarDIMM Pro is available as a printer firmware solution for HP FutureSmart 4 and HP FutureSmart 5 printers and MFPs. It is added as a USB stick easily plugged on the printer motherboard, automatically adding the barcoding intelligence to the printer.
Other PCL5 HP network printers can be equipped with the external BarDIMM Box (see below).
Most Canon printers and MFPs have the BarDIMM Pro available as the Optional Canon Barcode Printing Kit.

Other PCL5-compatible network printers
BarDIMM Box is an external adapter attached behind the printer. It connects between the original printer network cable and the network port of the printer.
BarDIMM Box works transparently as hosts continue to print to the printer IP address on port 9100, BarDIMM Box adds the PCL5 Barcoding intelligence by processing the flow.
Any PCL5 network printer can benefit from BarDIMM Box, from any brand. It connects in a few seconds and is ready to receive PCL5 print flows with barcoding commands. Such barcodes will be perfectly printed by the printer connected to the BarDIMM Box. Note that the BarDIMM Box uses an IP address (default DHCP) and that IP address is not used to address the printer.
The BarDIMM Box can be powered by the printer USB-A port present in the back of the printer (if permanently powered), using the optional power supply with Y cable, or any locally sourced 2A USB power supply with standard USB-A port.
